First Church:

Designed by renowned Scottish architect R.A. Lawson, First Church was opened in 1873, twenty five years after the first settlers arrived. This magnificent church was built in white Oamaru stone unique to the Otago region.

University of Otago:

Drive around the University of Otago, New Zealand’s oldest university founded in 1869. The University by maintaining its high academic standards, has status attendant with international recognition. New Zealand's first Medical School and only Dental School are in Dunedin.

Baldwin Street:

Certification of your ascent by foot up the steepest street in the world is recognition of a feat that can expand with the telling to your nearest and dearest... for those of more measured disposition we provide the luxury of ascent by Mercedes or BMW 7 Series.

Larnach Castle:

William Larnach, landowner, Minister of the Crown, banker, financier and merchant baron built the Castle for his beloved first wife, Eliza Jane Guise. Construction began in 1871, with 200 workmen labouring for five years before the family were in residence. European craftsmen worked for a further eleven years to embellish the interiors with the finest materials from around the world.Attractions include a priceless Venetian glass wall, antique furniture and Victorian articles. From the castle tower commanding 360 degree views of the Peninsula, the City and the Harbour provide a unique overview. Thirty five acres of gardens and shrubs are a backdrop to this unique castle.
